As a Senior Analyst within our IT Internal Audit team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering impactful assurance services to some of Australia's most influential ASX-listed companies and public sector organisations.

What will your typical day look like?

• Lead end-to-end delivery of IT assurance engagements, including planning, execution, and reporting.

• Design and test technology controls aligned with industry best practices and assurance standards and communicate technical findings clearly and effectively to diverse stakeholders.
• Support business development efforts through proposal writing and stakeholder engagement.
• Stay informed on emerging risks, regulatory changes, and industry trends impacting clients' technology environments.

About the team

As a key member of Deloitte's Control Assurance practice, you will advise and consult on large-scale IT risk and controls engagements, focusing on internal audits and technology assurance programs. You'll have the opportunity to:

• Lead and manage complex IT audit projects, ensuring high-quality deliverables that meet industry standards and client expectations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, test, evaluate technology controls and strengthen clients' IT governance, operational resilience, and data security frameworks.
• Build strong client relationships, uncover new opportunities, and contribute to Deloitte's growth in the technology risk space.

You may have all or some of the following skills/experiences:

• 3+ years' experience in IT internal audit, advisory, or consulting roles, with proven project management skills.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISA, CISM, CISSP) are highly regarded.
• Strong technical expertise in designing and testing controls within internal audit or assurance functions.
• Experience with assurance standards such as SOC 1, SOC 2, and familiarity with regulatory frameworks like APRA CPS 234, CPS 230, and CPG 235.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly.
• Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships and contribute to a team-oriented environment.
• Business acumen with a focus on identifying opportunities and delivering value to clients.
