Senior Analyst/Associate/Senior Associate - Corporate and Institutional Banking - Start Immediately

This is a full time and permanent role.

Title will be based on candidate's relevant experience and skill set.

Job Purpose

• Liaise and work closely with Directors in Corporate and Institutional banking department in credit analysis, credit monitoring, writing credit report, on boarding new client, preparing transaction relating ticket;
• Manage client information and monitor loan portfolio;
• Maintaining department financial data, periodical reconciliation with RMD and finance departments;
• Prepare and consolidate department weekly and monthly report ;
• Other jobs assigned by department head or Management on as and when required basis.

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years Australia Banking working experiences;
• The candidate must have strong credit analysis experience in outlining the business financial robustness, key terms & conditions of transactions, noted risks with corresponding mitigating factors and final transaction recommendation;
• The candidate must have exceptional oral and written communication skills;
• A minimum of one year in maintaining and assisting the relationship function role.

Education &Skills

• Must be tertiary educated, with as a minimum a degree in a business related subject;
• High level of initiative and exceptional organisation skills to manage a busy workload;
• Be able to produce quality standard documentation and be comfortable in the use of maintaining and developing systems;
• General understanding in banking and process knowledge to proactively manage a transaction from origination to close.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Gather deal requirements, financial statements and other inputs for performing quality analysis;
• Assist Director in developing client-focused presentations including marketing pitches for potential transactions and discussion papers;
• Assist Director with the origination, structuring and execution of bilateral, club, participation project finance transactions;
• Prepare credit paper and preparing memos with recommendations on commercial/credit decisions;
• Assist Director the negotiation of facility and security documentation;
• Work as an integral part of the structure finance, project finance & corporate loans team, providing support where required across the team;
• Maintain and disseminate research to facilitate effective risk identification and mitigation; source the required knowledge and information to make an informed recommendation.
