Senior Application Specialist - CRM

We’re looking for a Senior Application Engineer (SAP CRM) to join our Applications – Design team, where you’ll partner with business and technology leaders to shape and deliver high-quality solutions across our customer platforms.

About the role

This is a 2-year Max Term role ending June 2028

In this role, you’ll provide deep technical and functional expertise across SAP CRM and related utility systems, driving solution design, architecture, and delivery excellence.

You’ll work closely with stakeholders to ensure systems are optimised, scalable, and aligned to evolving business needs, while contributing to continuous improvement across platforms, processes, and ways of working. 

What you’ll be doing

• Provide architecture and solution design guidance across SAP CRM and integrated platforms (Billing, Metering, Finance) 

• Partner with business and delivery teams to design and implement scalable solutions aligned to customer and operational needs 

• Conduct FIT-GAP analysis, impact assessments, and architecture reviews to support decision-making 

• Lead proof of concepts (POCs) and contribute to innovation and emerging technology adoption 

• Support incident resolution, root cause analysis, and technical problem solving across platforms 

• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors (e.g., Appian, Kaluza, Salesforce) to ensure aligned, end-to-end solutions 

• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to uplifting team capability
   

What we’re looking for

• Strong expertise in SAP CRM and IS-U modules within the Utilities domain 

• Proven experience delivering end-to-end utility projects (multiple lifecycles) 

• Ability to lead workshops, stakeholder discussions, and solution shaping 

• Deep understanding of utilities CRM processes (move-in/move-out, customer engagement, billing flows) 

• Strong problem-solving and solution design capability with a techno-functional mindset 

• Exposure to HANA, SQL, and modern solution delivery practices (Agile preferred)
