Senior Associate, Personal Injury

The Opportunity

An established, quasi \- in house insurance\-backed legal practice is seeking a Senior Associate to join its personal injury team in Sydney. This role offers genuine autonomy, end\-to\-end file ownership, and direct engagement with insured clients — without the pressure of billable targets or business development.

You’ll be trusted to manage complex personal injury matters while working within a collaborative, close\-knit team that values technical excellence and practical outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing personal injury matters from investigation through to resolution
  




• Advising on liability, causation and quantum
  




• Preparing pleadings, evidence, advices and settlement strategies
  




• Appearing in courts, mediations and conferences as required
  




• Working closely with internal stakeholders and insured clients
  




• Supporting and mentoring junior lawyers
  

About You

• Senior Associate with strong personal injury experience
  




• Confident managing files independently and appearing in proceedings
  




• Strong written advocacy and practical problem\-solving skills
  




• Collegiate, calm and commercially minded approach
