Senior Associate - Real Estate - Construction & Infrastructure

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Associate (7+ years PQE) tojoin our Brisbane, Real Estate team. In this role you willwork closely with the Construction & Infrastructure Partner,across a variety of interesting projects and industries withinAustralia and integrating with our global Real Estate practice.This role presents a fantastic opportunity to work on cutting edgetransactions and be part of an energetic, vibrant andmulti-disciplinary team. 

 On a day to day basis you will have the chance to:

• Draft project documentation (project agreements,construction, operation and maintenance agreements, offtake,tolling and other revenue agreements, and ancillary projectdocumentation)
• Assist in the performance and delivery of work to andmanagement of relationships with the group's key clients
• Assist on the sale and purchase of infrastructureassets
• Participate in business development and client relationshipactivities
• Contribute to the firm's learning and development programsin your area of specialty
• Access and work with our global network of lawyers andresources.

About the practice

Our growing Brisbane Real Estate practice support clientsinvolved in every aspect of energy, infrastructure, and resourcesspace through a variety of legal disciplines. We serveproject sponsors and developers in power generation, renewableenergy, oil and gas, mining, transportation, and socialinfrastructure, as well as investors, banks, manufacturers, andcontractors involved in financing, building, and operating theseprojects.

About you

The successful applicant will ideally have 7+ years PQEexperience at a well-regarded firm in its construction andinfrastructure team, with demonstrated experience in one or moreinfrastructure procurement projects, construction contracting andhave exceptional technical abilities.

As a successful candidate, you will have demonstrated experiencein a broad range of construction and infrastructure related mattersfrom a front end perspective. You should be practical andproactive in your approach in addition to demonstrating strongproblem solving skills and commercial acumen. A high level ofclient service is expected, as are well-developed communication anddrafting skills are essential.
