Children's Health Queensland provides services from key locations in the Brisbane metropolitan area and works with the 15 other hospital and health services as well as NGOs and charity partners in Queensland to deliver an integrated network of healthcare services and support across the state.

Your Opportunity:

The position of Senior Audiologist will deliver high level clinical and population-based audiology services in the allied health team for the Deadly Ears program aimed at; 

  • Improving the early diagnosis and management of conductive hearing loss for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children in rural and remote communities by delivering and coordinating comprehensive care pathways to optimise speech, language and participation outcomes as part of a multidisciplinary clinical team.
  • Improving outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children (with or at risk of conductive hearing loss) by supporting workforces and services to manage the impacts on child development and wellbeing. 

The scope of this position includes clinical service delivery in rural and remote settings, cross sector collaboration for service improvement initiatives, clinical advice, education, health promotion, teaching and research.
