Our client is a well-regarded mid-tier firm with a commitment to providing exceptional services to their clients. The firm is growing at an astounding rate and as a result, requires an additional Senior Auditor to join their Melbourne team. 

About the Role

Our client is seeking an individual with the confidence to engage clients across a variety of industries, who are committed to professional excellence and currently undertaking the CA/CPA program (if not already qualified). A solid foundation of accounting experience will provide a strong platform on which to further develop your technical and non-technical skills. 
Your excellent interpersonal and communication skills will provide you with the ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally. Possessing a strong client service focus is imperative as is the ability to be completely accountable for your tasks, and work productively as part of a small team.

About You

• Minimum of 2 years experience as an external auditor
• Progress toward or completion of CA/CPA qualification
• Proven experience in planning, conducting, and finalizing audits
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A critical thinker with a curious mind and professional skepticism 
• Accountability for your tasks and those of your team
• Experience with CaseWare software

• Assist Audit Partner and work well within a team. 
• Company, special purpose, and general purpose audits. 
• Delivery of audit engagements from start to finish whilst working effectively in a team.
• Mentor and coach intermediates and graduates 
• Stay up-to-date on relevant accounting standards and auditing practices
