The Opportunity
As a Senior Bookkeeper, you will be a key player in enabling Kelly+Partners' next phase of growth. The successful applicant will become an integral part of the broader team and will have at least four years' experience in a similar position.
Position Responsibilities
Manage a portfolio of clients, overseeing bookkeeping, payroll processing, and related services
Prepare and lodge BAS and other statutory returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance
Prepare and lodge payroll for a variety of clients, along with monthly and annual payroll tax returns, ensuring compliance with statutory obligations
Prepare end-of-year Single Touch Payroll lodgements for clients
Complete bookkeeping duties including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and data processing
Generate monthly and quarterly client reports using accounting software
Work in tandem with Client Directors, Senior Managers and Partners and the broader team on projects to drive success for Kelly+Partners
Partake in company events, training sessions as well as team meetings
About You
Minimum of 4 years' experience in a similar role
Experience in a chartered accountancy firm, preferred
Possess a Certificate IV in Bookkeeping/Accounting
Proven working experience with accounting software, specifically; Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks and Reckon
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
