The Opportunity:
We are looking for a highly motivated senior bookkeeper. Working with a passionate, fun and client focused team. This position will suit someone with a mature attitude, who is wanting to understand our business and clients, and work with us to enhance our capabilities. The position will require you to work in the office.
The role provides variety, working with multiple clients from a range of industries.
The role will include:
- Using various Accounting Software Xero, MYOB, QB etc.
- Full bookkeeping for clients including reconciling the trial balance, monthly, process end-of-month journals, prepare profit and loss and balance sheet, and other necessary reports
- Process payroll with knowledge in award rates, employer obligations, superannuation, entitlements etc.
- Monthly/Quarterly reporting for clients
- Communicating with clients via phone and email
Skills and Experience
- A minimum of 5 years accounting or bookkeeping experience
- A sound understand bookkeeping principles
- Proficient in all Microsoft programs
- Attention to detail, speed and accuracy is essential
- Clear and excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities is crucial
