The Opportunity

We’re looking for a curious, member-focused Senior Business Analyst to support HBF’s delivery of exceptional member service and sales performance through its contextual member engagement platforms.

This role will focus on supporting our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system powered by Salesforce (Sales and Service Cloud).

This position is based in Perth on a 12-month fixed-term basis.

About the Role  
This role sits within the Business Analysis Chapter in the Tech & Architecture Emerging Technology Division, reporting to the Business Analysis Team Lead.

Working in the Member Connect Tribe, within the EVE Squad, you’ll support the continuous enhancement of the CRM in collaboration with Chapter Leads and Tribe leadership. You’ll help design streamlined processes and customer journeys, support risk-aligned operations, and promote strong data quality.

You’ll join a dynamic, cross-functional team where your expertise as a Senior Business Analyst will add immediate value. Your responsibilities will include:

• Engaging with business stakeholders to understand current pain points and future aspirations

• Capturing business requirements as user stories and acceptance criteria, while identifying opportunities to streamline outcomes through emerging technologies

• Working with technical team members to communicate requirements and support solution design, defect identification, and analysis

• Mapping current and future-state processes to support effective solution design

• Supporting backlog refinement, estimation and prioritisation within Agile ways of working

• Bridging business and technical language to ensure shared understanding and alignment

In this role, you’ll act as a key translator, making complex concepts clear and actionable across the organisation.

About You 
You are an experienced Senior Business Analyst with a strong track record working in Agile delivery teams. You can navigate stakeholder needs, lead workshops confidently, and apply strong attention to detail. You are collaborative, delivery-focused, and demonstrate positive professional behaviours. You thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and can prioritise effectively while maintaining quality.

Your technical toolkit includes proficiency in Jira and Confluence. You are skilled in user story decomposition, facilitating estimation sessions, and translating solution design diagrams into actionable technical stories. You can absorb complex information, apply analytical thinking, and deliver clear, practical problem-solving. Previous Salesforce experience will be highly regarded.

We’re looking for someone who is not only skilled in traditional analysis techniques but also forward-thinking in the use of emerging technologies. An important part of this role is exploring how Artificial Intelligence (AI) can enhance decision-making, streamline processes, and uncover deeper insights from data.

You’ll bring curiosity about how AI can be applied across business functions and proactively identify opportunities where intelligent automation and machine learning can create value.
