Senior Business Analyst to lead business analysis and delivery governance for the Collections Gateway Program Your new role
A leading financial services organisation is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to drive business analysis, solution alignment, and delivery governance for a large scale Collections Gateway Transformation Program.This program is a strategic, enterprise-wide initiative designed to centralise orchestration across internal collections platforms, third party Debt Collection Agencies (DCAs), workflow systems, data platforms, and API integration layers. It underpins the organisation's outsourcing model, operational resilience, regulatory obligations, and long term automation strategy.The Senior BA will operate as a key delivery lead across business, architecture, and vendor streams-ensuring requirements are robust, solutions align with enterprise standards, and the platform is fully prepared for transition into BAU.This role requires deep domain expertise across collections, integration-heavy programs, and regulated environments.
Key Responsibilities
End-to-End Business Analysis Leadership

• Own requirements definition across multiple transformation workstreams.
• Lead current-state and future-state process mapping across collections, hardship, recalls, exclusions, and DCA interactions.
• Define lifecycle flows for allocation, monitoring, escalation, exception handling, and case closure.
• Translate business objectives into clear functional and non-functional requirements.
• Develop traceability matrices linking requirements to delivery artefacts and regulatory obligations.

Integration & Data Governance Alignment

• Partner with Enterprise Architecture and vendors to validate:
  • API integration contracts
  • Batch vs. real-time orchestration design
  • Data reconciliation models and lineage mapping
• Define routing rule governance, version control, and audit requirements.
• Support development of DCA onboarding standards and integration patterns.

Operational Readiness & BAU Transition

• Define structured BAU engagement milestones throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Lead operational readiness workshops covering:
  • Monitoring & alerting
  • DCA performance oversight
  • Business continuity activation
  • Incident & reconciliation processes
• Develop runbooks, RACI models, and governance artefacts for transition.
• Support hypercare and early stabilisation.

Testing & Delivery Support

• Define acceptance criteria, scenario walkthroughs, and end-to-end validation cases.
• Support SIT/UAT coordination across internal and vendor teams.
• Validate solution outcomes against business rules and operational expectations.
• Identify risks, dependencies, and operational gaps.

What you'll need to succeed Essential

• 7+ years' experience as a Business Analyst in enterprise transformation programs.
• Proven experience delivering integration-heavy platforms.
• Strong understanding of collections lifecycle and vendor/outsourcing models.
• Ability to translate architecture into business-operational impacts.
• Experience operating within regulated financial services.
• Strong workshop facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills.

Highly Desirable

• Experience with rule engines or decision frameworks.
• Exposure to DCA integration models (API, SFTP, event-driven).
• Background supporting business continuity or fallback capabilities.
• Experience with workflow platforms, API-based architectures, and data platforms (e.g., Snowflake or similar).
