Maximum Term Contract Full Time - 36.25 hours per week - until 30/06/2027  


 


$79,426.33 to $85,181.53  Annually  + up to 13% super

As our Senior Business Support Officer, you’ll be at the centre of a fast‑paced Governance and Legal Services Group, keeping things moving, supporting specialist teams and helping deliver great outcomes for our organisation.

Your responsibilities:


 



  • Providing administrative and financial coordination for the Governance and Legal Services Group, including preparing correspondence and reports, processing invoices and purchase orders, and managing diaries, schedules and incoming tasks (including GIRA entries).

  • Supporting the Legal Services, Risk and Liability Services and WorkCover Units by organising workflows, meeting deadlines, drafting documents (letters, forms and simple court documents) and contributing to consistent, efficient service delivery.

  • Delivering high‑quality customer service, handling sensitive or non‑routine enquiries with professionalism, sound judgement and timely follow‑through.

  • Contributing to projects and continuous improvement, including undertaking research, supporting group initiatives and identifying opportunities to enhance administrative systems, processes and record‑keeping.


 


 


Skills and experience:


 




  • Well‑developed administrative, organisational, time‑management and financial skills, with the ability to prioritise competing tasks and meet deadlines.

  • Proven ability to deliver high‑quality customer service, including resolving sensitive or non‑routine issues with professionalism, discretion and sound judgement.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience drafting documents (letters, forms, simple court documents), preparing reports, spreadsheets and other business documentation.

  • Good research, analytical and computer skills, including the use of word processing, spreadsheets, financial systems, databases and contributing to projects or business improvement initiatives.
