Why your role matters:
The Conduct and Integrity Office (CIO) supports the UNSW Community to uphold honest and ethical behaviour. The CIO investigates and resolves serious complaints and wrongdoing at UNSW. As trusted advisors, we support educational efforts to prevent misconduct and wrongdoing and promote respect and integrity.
The Senior Case Manager plays a crucial role in managing and investigating some of the University’s most serious and complex cases. You’ll be working with a collaborative team and will be at the forefront of managing and conducting complex investigations into public interest disclosures and other complex investigations such as fraud and sexual misconduct. You will have experience and expert knowledge in workplace investigations, procedural fairness, and the rules of evidence. You will have superior emotional intelligence and resilience, with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to advise and communicate effectively.
As an investigator, on the job you will be required to have a working knowledge of the Public Interest Disclosures Act 2022 (NSW), Independent Commission Against Corruption Act 1998 (NSW, Fair Work Act 2009 (Cth) and willingness to learn and apply further acts as required, to ensure the University meets its legislative and duty of care obligations in managing and investigating the most serious, sensitive, and complex of Conduct & Integrity Office cases.
The role reports to Mr Riley O’Keeffe, Manager, Disclosures & Complex Investigations and does not have any direct reports.
