Senior Change Manager

A large and complex Higher Education organisation undergoing a significant operating model transformation is seeking an experienced Senior Change Manager / Change Lead to play a pivotal role in driving enterprise-wide change. You will work at the centre of a high-profile program that is reshaping how the organisation delivers services, collaborates, and operates across multiple functions.
Your new role
As the Senior Change Manager / Change Lead, you will take ownership of the change strategy and delivery across a multi-stream transformation. You will:
Lead and coordinate change activities across four dedicated Change Managers, each assigned to a separate squad and workstream.
Partner closely with executive stakeholders to drive engagement, influence decision-making, and support the design of future-state operating models.
Oversee governance processes, including SteerCo updates, risk management, dependencies, and program reporting.
Shape and deliver strategies across engagement, communications, change impacts, training, and readiness.
Lead problem-solving in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment, ensuring consistency and alignment across all streams.
What you'll need to succeed
Proven experience as a Senior Change Manager or Change Lead within a higher education environment. Strong capability in operating model transformation and organisational design.
Experience leading and coaching change teams.
Highly developed communication, stakeholder engagement, and influencing skills.
Ability to work with ambiguity, solve issues proactively, and manage competing priorities.
Comfort operating within governance structures and presenting to senior audiences.
