About the role   

Reporting to the Portfolio Change Manager, with a dotted line to the relevant Program Manager, the Senior Change Manager will lead delivery of change activities and outcomes for a key portfolio program. This role is accountable for designing, delivering and overseeing all change management activities, outputs and reporting, ensuring high-quality artefacts, materials and activities that support people readiness, successful go-live, and seamless handover to the business. The role also ensures alignment between program outputs and intended business outcomes. 

This is a hands-on position suited to a highly experienced change professional with a proven track record delivering change within large-scale, complex programs. The successful candidate will bring deep expertise across change management practices and outcomes and demonstrate the ability to engage and influence highly technical and scientifically minded stakeholders. Working as part of a broader Change team, you will be instrumental in driving alignment within your program, business adoption of solutions, and ensuring lasting business outcomes are achieved. 

This is a 12month Fixed Term Contract with the flexibility to be based in Sydney, Melbourne or Perth. 

What you will be doing   

• Deliver end-to-end change management activities aligned to the Enterprise Change Framework, ensuring high-quality artefacts and adherence to best practice and quality standards.  


• Partner with the Portfolio Change Manager to maintain consistency, quality and completeness of key deliverables, including impact assessments, change strategies, and readiness planning.  


• Oversee, design and deliver stakeholder communications, engagement, learning and training activities, collaborating with specialist enablement teams within your portfolio as needed.  


• Work closely with Program/Project Managers to identify, manage and mitigate treat risks, issues and dependencies, ensuring successful change delivery.  


• Collaborate across internal teams and stakeholders to align change initiatives, support governance and reporting requirements, and drive a consistent, cohesive change experience. 

What you will bring to the role   

• Demonstrated senior-level experience delivering end-to-end change management across large, complex programs including technology and operating model initiatives.  


• A wealth of expertise across core change disciplines, including impact assessments, change strategy and planning, communications, engagement, learning and training, and people readiness.  


• Proven capability designing and delivering communication, engagement and learning solutions to drive adoption and behavioural change.  


• Solid understanding of project delivery methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Lean) and ability to operate effectively within them.  


• Highly developed stakeholder engagement, facilitation and coaching skills, with the ability to co-design solutions and influence outcomes.  


• Relevant qualifications, accreditations and/or certifications in change management or related disciplines (e.g. Change Management Institute, APMG, PROSCI).  


• Applicants must be an Australian citizen with the ability to attain and maintain an appropriate level of national security clearance issued by AGSVA.
