Senior Claims Consultant, Reinsurance & Latent Claims

In this role, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of complex and sensitive latent claims, including litigated matters. You will apply strong analytical skills, legal and technical capability, and a high level of emotional intelligence when working with sensitive claims. You’ll also contribute to continuous improvement, technical excellence and stakeholder engagement.

This is a permanent, full-time position open to candidates based in Gadigal Country (Sydney)

What You'll Do 

• Manage an end‑to‑end portfolio of complex, litigated and sensitive claims


• Assess liability, indemnity, causation and quantum with accuracy and independence


• Provide clear recommendations and exercise sound judgement


• Work closely with panel firms, experts and key internal stakeholders


• Maintain excellent file management


• Identify and implement opportunities for improvement initiatives


• Live by a strict discipline of discretion and confidentiality

What You'll Bring 

• Liability and/or Workers Compensation claims experience (essential)


• Demonstrated experience handling litigated or high‑complexity claims


• Strong communication skills and the ability to influence across diverse stakeholders


• High analytical capability, resilience, and professional integrity


• Ability to work independently in sensitive or challenging environments


• Latent Claims experience highly regarded
