Based in East Melbourne, We are currently seeking a well-established and highly successful senior claims executive to build and develop the our clients claims solution.

You will be required to provide a specialised claims management service delivering high quality service to our broker network and their customers.

You will act as a Technical Resource working with our Authorised Representatives and their clients to provide expertise in managing timely claim settlements.

You will work with Clients, Insurers, Loss Adjustors, AFCA and our PI Insurers as required.
 

The Role

• Manage large/complex claims by finding the best outcome for the client
• Support a fast resolution of any AFCA and PI disputes
• Liase with underwriters, clients, Authorised Representatives and other stakeholders
• Provide senior technical and escalation support
• Prepare management reports plans for all claims and record actions as they occur
   

About You

• Relevant claims experience of at least 5 years
• Experience managing complex claims across multiple lines of insurance
• Well-developed relationships with senior insurer claims personnel
• Experience working with a TPA is preferred
• Experience negotiating favourable claims settlements for clients
• Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
