Enhanced Eating Disorders Team Senior Clinician
Eastern Health
Eastern Health is one of Melbourne’s largest public health services. We provide a range of emergency, surgical, medical and general healthcare services and have a proud history of serving a diverse community.
Our Employee Value Proposition is “Being a part of Eastern Health means belonging to a welcoming team of healthcare experts”.
This statement aligns with our promise to our communities, patients, consumers and staff that we will be HEALTHIER TOGETHER. Bolder than a vision for the future, our promise calls us to action. We know that working together is the only way we can achieve what is necessary for a healthier future.
About the role
The Enhanced Eating Disorder Team (EEDT) is a specialist team within the Infant Child and Youth Mental Health Service which provides timely and specialist eating disorder intervention for young people presenting with an eating disorder, along with their families. The team provides mental health assessment and clinical case management along with evidence-based eating disorder treatments including Family Based Therapy for Anorexia, CBT-E and SSCM. You would join a skilled and experienced team who work from a basis grounded in family, systemic and reflective therapies. There is a strong culture of ongoing professional development, quality supervision, and robust structures to support clinicians to develop their skills. We are looking for a Senior Clinician or a clinician ready to step up to a senior role, who has substantial clinical case management and/or eating disorder experience, to join the team. The successful candidate would hold a designated case load while also playing an important role in supporting staff within the team and the ICYMHS service more broadly in the form of primary and secondary consultations.
