Senior Collibra Integration Engineer

Contract - Collibra Integration EngineerYour new companyA large public sector organisation undertaking enterprise scale data and AI initiatives, with a strong focus on governance, compliance, and responsible use of analytics. The environment is complex, regulated, and highly data-driven.
Your new roleAs a Collibra Integration Engineer, you'll design and deliver the technical integration between Collibra and Databricks, supporting enterprise AI monitoring, reporting, and governance.You'll work across metadata ingestion, AI lineage, and governance workflows, partnering with data governance, AI/analytics, risk, privacy, compliance, and operations teams to implement robust, scalable solutions.
Key responsibilities include:

• Designing Collibra-Databricks integrations using APIs, Edge connectors, and JDBC
• Implementing metadata models for AI lineage, performance, drift, data quality, risk, and explainability
• Configuring Collibra workflows, policies, standards, alerts, and incident escalation
• Delivering executive, operational, and incident reporting templates
• Mapping Responsible AI and risk framework requirements into Collibra
• Producing clear technical documentation and BAU handover materials

What you'll need to succeed

• Strong hands-on experience with Collibra integration and workflows in enterprise environments
• Solid API, JDBC, and Edge connector experience
• Experience designing metadata schemas and AI/data lineage
• Familiarity with Databricks and modern data platforms
• Understanding of Responsible AI, model risk, or regulatory governance frameworks
• Strong stakeholder engagement and documentation skills
