Role Overview:

As a Commercial Plumbing Estimator, you’ll play a pivotal role in our project lifecycle. Collaborating with architects, engineers, and project managers, you’ll assess plumbing requirements, analyze plans, and provide accurate cost estimates. Your attention to detail and familiarity with complex commercial projects will be invaluable.

Responsibilities:

• Plan Analysis: Review architectural and hydraulic plans to understand plumbing needs specific to commercial spaces.
• Quantification: Calculate materials, labor, and equipment requirements for each project.
• Cost Estimation: Prepare detailed estimates, considering labor rates, material costs, and project timelines.
• Supplier Collaboration: Work closely with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotes.
• Client Interaction: Present estimates to clients, ensuring transparency and clarity.
• Database Maintenance: Continuously update and refine cost databases for precision.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum 3 years as a Plumbing Estimator, preferably in commercial settings.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Cavsoft, ProEst, Bluebeam) and Microsoft Excel.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to dissect complex commercial plans and identify cost components.
