See yourself in our team Marketing and Corporate Affairs (MCA) is responsible for delivering an integrated and consistent approach to the Group's marketing, brand, external and internal affairs, communications, and sustainability. The Corporate Affairs team purpose is to earn trust by building advocacy. We do this through renewing our brand and reputation with our stakeholders, engaging internal and external stakeholders to inspire advocacy and deliver trusted insights to inform decisions. This will achieve our Corporate Affairs ambition to champion a purpose-led CBA. Do work that matters This Senior Manager in our Communications chapter will flow to work in both the Institutional & Banking Markets (IB&M) and Business Bank (BB) Corporate Affairs team. We're looking for an experienced communications professional with strong PR and media experience and a passion for driving measurable outcomes. This role will support the Executive Manager Corporate Affairs and plays a pivotal role in executing IB&M and BB's communication plans and driving proactive media engagement activity as well as supporting CBA's marketing campaigns and initiatives. On any given day, you will:

• Create and deliver communication strategies across a portfolio of areas of the businesses and may also contribute to the delivery of strategies and plans to support CBA Group-wide campaigns and initiatives.
• Work closely with members of the IB&M and BB leadership teams to oversee and manage external communications activity, and create and drive compelling narratives, campaigns and media opportunities.
• Provide leadership and direction in responding to issues that could affect CBA's reputation.

We're interested in hearing from people who have:

• Demonstrated experience in a similar role within a listed company, issues-rich and highly regulated environment, managing business communication strategy and implementation.
• Significant experience in media relations ideally within banking and financial services
• Strong issue management experience
• A track record in developing, implementing and measuring integrated and coordinated communication strategies, including channel innovation and social media programs.
• Demonstrated ability running PR campaigns and working closely with marketing teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills and an ability to work with multiple teams and functions to deliver strong outcomes.
