Senior Complex Fraud Analyst

Reporting to the Fraud Risk Manager, this role is a 9 month contract responsible for collecting information and evidence, conducting investigative analyses, which is used to develop actionable intelligence of a confidential nature for timely dissemination to Optus Managers and Law Enforcement to support Company objectives.

Your day to day will consist of...

 

• Ability to cut through complex fraud scenarios so that root causes can be addressed effectively by employing innovative solutions.
• Excellent understanding of key telecommunications products (mobile, fixed, internet) and associated data and complex process flows.
• Proven knowledge and experience of SQL, database systems and complex analysis.
• Experience completing Fraud Risk Assessment
• Experience leading Projects as the Fraud SME
• Proven experience identifying, and following through fraud issues that impact Optus and its customers

What makes you perfect for the role?

 

• Degree Qualified within Accounting/Commerce/Business
• Extensive experience within a similar Fraud Analyst role with prove experience interrogating multiple data sources
• Experience in Credit/ Fraud within Telco advantageous
• Proficient in using Analytical tools (e.g Analyst Notebook, Alteryx, R, Python)
