Your team

The Compliance Incident Management Team is responsible for providing specialist compliance incident management support to all business functions within Hollard and assessing for reportability of matters to our Regulators. 

Duties and responsibilities

  • Co-ordinating and overseeing the compliance incident management process, including identifying and implementing opportunities to optimise the process. 
  • Provide services to business stakeholders to ensure compliance incidents are managed effectively, accurately and in a timely manner. 
  • Representing the Compliance Function in incident triage processes and ensuring holistic coverage across Hollard by engaging relevant business stakeholders to manage incidents. 
  • Providing any other support to your team to achieve the team's objectives, as required.

Knowledge and Experience

  • Experience in a Line 2 compliance role or similar function.
  • Must have legal experience, or insurance and/or financial services compliance experience (General insurance strongly preferred).
  • Good working knowledge of the regulatory compliance landscape (APRA prudential standards, Corporations Act & Regulations, ASIC Act and Regulatory Guides, Insurance Contracts Act, and the GI Code of Practice).
  • Sound judgement with the ability to think critically and analytically and use data driven insights to solve problems is required.
  • Strong research and investigative skills with the ability to critically assess decisions, findings and outcomes reported by colleagues
