Job Description - Senior Consultant - Workers Compensation

Description:

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Workers Compensation team at Marsh. This role will be based in Sydney, Barangaroo. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

As a Senior Consultant - Workers Compensation, you will play a key role in delivering practical solutions to clients’ workers compensation and risk management challenges. You will work with a knowledgeable team supporting some of Australia’s largest national clients and contributing to outcomes that make a genuine difference.

We will count on you to:

  • Provide clients, including executives, with expert solutions to their workers compensation and risk management problems
  • Analyse clients’ risk profiles, including claims, premiums and policy structure, to recommend tailored and effective solution options
  • Self-insurance experience, including claims consulting and placement, is favourable
  • Engage clients through proactive approaches that help reduce risk and improve performance
  • Deliver national workers compensation technical knowledge in claims, premium and policy with confidence and clarity
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with clients and client executives across projects
  • Actively identify and develop new and expanded business opportunities
  • Project manage client deliverables and lead client servicing teams nationally with professionalism and care

What you need to have:

  • Experience in an advisory or related role
  • Thorough knowledge of workers compensation legislation and current issues
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to coach, mentor and engage others
  • Ability to identify and convert new business opportunities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent time management, attention to detail and quality focus
