Join a major Australian bank undergoing one of the largest transformation and migration programs in the organisation's history. This role sits within the mortgages stream of a multi-year strategic initiative consolidating multiple businesses into a single operating model.

Your new role

As a Senior Data Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in analysing complex data sets, identifying patterns, and communicating insights in a way that is clear and accessible to non-technical stakeholders. Your analysis will directly support key decision-making within the mortgages stream, particularly as the organisation migrates and integrates systems, processes, and data environments.

Experience of working across mortgages is essential and translating technical data into simple, business-friendly language is required for this position.

What You'll Do

• Lead end-to-end data analysis across mortgages initiatives within a large scale program.
• Identify, interpret, and validate data patterns, trends, and anomalies
• Present insights clearly to business stakeholders who are not technically focused
• Support data mapping, reconciliation, and migration activities
• Collaborate with technology, product, and business teams across a large transformation program
• Contribute to business readiness during a multi-organisation migration into a unified model
• Ensure data integrity and alignment across all program workstreams

What you'll need to succeed

• Strong Data BA expertise - ability to interrogate, analyse, and explain data clearly
• Mortgages experience (mandatory) - applications will not be considered without this
• Demonstrated experience in data migration projects
• Ability to translate complex technical findings into concise business language
• Previous experience working in large transformation programs
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
