What You'll Do

As a Senior Data Consultant, you’ll work directly with clients to translate business needs into powerful data solutions. You’ll be involved in:

• Engaging with stakeholders – Facilitate workshops, gather data requirements, and communicate insights to both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior executives.


• Designing and implementing data solutions – Work with Power BI (DAX), Data Engineering (SQL), or both to create scalable analytics solutions.


• Data modelling and architecture – Apply data best practices to ensure solutions are efficient, maintainable, and aligned with business objectives.


• Collaborating on projects – Work on large enterprise initiatives or smaller agile projects, leveraging modern data platforms like Microsoft Fabric, Synapse, Snowflake, or Databricks.


• Driving insights and value – Build dashboards, data pipelines, and AI-enhanced analytics that drive business decisions.


• Growing your expertise – Stay ahead of industry trends with allocated learning time, access to Microsoft training, and opportunities to experiment with emerging AI-driven solutions.

What We’re Looking For

We're looking for a strong communicator with solid technical skills who enjoys working with businesses to solve data challenges. You don’t need prior consulting experience, but you should be comfortable engaging with stakeholders and presenting confidently.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Business Intelligence OR Data Engineering expertise:
  
  
  
  • Power BI (DAX) – Intermediate level required.
  
  
  • SQL (for data engineering) – Expert level required.
    
    
  
  
  
  


• Data fundamentals:
  
  
  
  • Understanding of data modelling principles and best practices.
  
  
  • Ability to workshop data requirements with business users.
    
    
  
  
  
  


• Technical flexibility:
  
  
  
  • Experience in Synapse, Databricks, or Fabric.
  
  
  • Understanding of data pipelines, ETL, or analytics workflows.

  • Comfortable engaging with senior executives.
