Job Description - Senior Digital Content Advisor

Safer Care Victoria was established in January 2017 to ensure our health services are providing safe, high-quality care to patients: every time, everywhere. As well as monitoring the standards of care provided, Safer Care Victoria is partnering with patients, clinicians and health service managers to support the continuous improvement of health care.

About the role:  

The Senior Digital Content Advisor, is accountable for planning, creating, reviewing, publishing and coordinating high quality and accurate online content, focused on Safer Care Victoria (SCV) website digital program.

  • The Senior Digital Content Advisor takes direction from and works collaboratively with the Digital Program Lead and is responsible for digital content and providing best practice advice. 
  • This role is responsible for the delivery of digital content for the SCV digital program of work to enhance the SCV website to align with business objectives, led by the Digital Program Lead.

How you'll make a difference:

  • Establish content governance and processes, protocols, and any training requirements to set up and establish efficient ways of working.
  • Manage and coordinate the review, update and publishing of high quality accurate online content, to ensure successful delivery of the SCV website enhancements program.
  • Develop engaging digital content aligned to the digital strategy for SCV website to support the implementation of content and channel planning, ensuring a customer experience approach is undertaken, driving consistency across the department's digital channels and adherence to WOVG digital guidelines. 
  • Contribute to the planning and delivery for a new model for digital content updates - web distributed authoring for SCV website, including delivering required training to SCV team and other key stakeholders. 
  • Using strong writing and editing skills, develop new content that supports SCV objectives around Safety and Improvement. 
  • Create documents for the website that meet WCAG AA Accessibility standards. 
  • Provide digital content recommendations and guidance to the Digital Program Lead and SCV stakeholders, model departmental values and contribute to building a positive and productive culture.
  • As part of project activities, contribute to reporting in collaboration with the Digital Program Lead.
