The Opportunity

We’re looking for a 13-month fixed-term contract for a Senior Digital Content Coordinator role to join the Communications and Events function, beginning from Monday 9 November 2026. 

We’re looking for someone who loves digital storytelling and content creation, knows their way around platforms such as Salesforce, Squiz and Mailchimp, and will develop and deliver a range of communications, marketing and engagement activities to internal and external audiences within the College’s domestic and international community. This role will also be responsible for the content development and maintenance of the Monash College website and intranet.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  

  Developing and delivering the implementation of strategically aligned communications, marketing and engagement activities, ensuring high-quality, engaging and on-brand content is delivered across a range of digital channels. 

  
  


• 
  

  Lead the day-to-day publication of communications, marketing and engagement content, including the development of the all-staff newsletter and maintenance of the Monash College website and intranet, digital channels, and events. 

  
  


• 
  

  Develop marketing communications strategies and plans that are aligned to the College’s core purpose of providing students with a seamless and immersive Monash student experience. 

  
  


• 
  

  Lead student engagement activities, including campus tours, conversion events and student events at the College. 

  
  


• 
  

  Work with content creators, Social Media Ambassadors, videographers and photographers to develop a range of digital marketing and communications assets, including student testimonials, highlight videos, interviews and other campaigns. 

  
  

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring:

• 
  

  Tertiary qualification in marketing, communications or business is highly preferred. 

  
  


• 
  

  2–4 years experience in a marketing or communications role. 

  
  


• 
  

  Demonstrable experience in managing website CMS platforms, including Squiz, Wordpress, Squarespace. 

  
  


• 
  

  Knowledge of or experience in the Education sector, in particular the higher or international education sector (not essential; preferred). 

  
  


• 
  

  Strong attention to detail. 

  
  


• 
  

  Excellent project management skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines in accordance with timelines and budget.
