The Senior eCommerce Manager will be responsible for leading our clients eCommerce strategy, driving online sales growth, and enhancing the customer experience on their digital platforms.
Our client has a 12 month maternity contract available for an established eCommerce Manager looking to continue to drive their businesses online sales growth, and enhance the customer experience on their digital platforms. They are an Australian owned company and staple piece of the community.
Job Description:
The Senior eCommerce Manager will be responsible for leading our clients eCommerce strategy, driving online sales growth, and enhancing the customer experience on their digital platforms. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of the eCommerce landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement the overall eCommerce strategy to drive online sales and customer engagement.
* Manage and optimise the eCommerce platform, ensuring a seamless and user-friendly experience.
* Oversee digital marketing initiatives, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media, and affiliate programs.
* Analyse website performance, customer behaviour, and sales data to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, IT, logistics, and customer service, to ensure alignment and execution of eCommerce initiatives.
* Lead and mentor the eCommerce team, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental goals.
* Manage the eCommerce budget, forecasting, and financial performance.
* Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continuously improve the eCommerce strategy.
Skills and Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
* Retail Industry experience in apparel
* Strong understanding of eCommerce platforms, digital marketing, and web analytics.
* Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
* Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
* Proficient in SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media, and affiliate marketing.
* Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Highly organised, detail-oriented, and results-driven.
* Experience with eCommerce platforms.
