Senior Electrical Engineer

Pacific People Solutions are very pleased to partner with our valued client, a leader in the mining and metals industry to source a Senior Electrical Engineer for their operation based on-site in regional Victoria.

As the Senior Electrical Engineer, you will bring your experience to building the plant's expertise within both technical and business areas. This role leads a small technical team and work closely with the site leadership team in process support and continuous improvement.
  
This is a hands-on role whereby you report to the plant's Metals Manager, and are responsible for leading the team to solve complex technical problems. Using your experience in Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) methodologies, this role will address the plant's electrical engineering issues to ensure that production, cost and quality objectives are met. You will also champion EH&S best practices and take on an advisory role in the area of regulatory changes and compliance requirements.

• Tertiary Qualifications in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum of 6 – 8 years work experience in the electrical engineering field in operations
• Experience in a heavy industry environment (mining, resources, manufacturing)
• Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills coupled with previous engineering supervisory experience
• Ability to guide, influence and build strong relationships
