RoleSummary:

The SeniorElectrical Engineer is a newly created opportunity based at ourPinjar Power Station site. The purpose of the role is to provideengineering support to the site operations team and undertakeEngineering assignments encompassing project management, designservices, conceptual technical proposals, and costestimates.

Take the leadrole in the investigation of technical problems and recommend safe,reliable, efficient, and cost-effective solutions.

As the SeniorElectrical Engineer, you will provide technical, and projectssupport to the gas turbines and distributed generation operatingunit.

Keyresponsibilities of the role include :

• Investigate plantoperating/performance problems, as reported by others orobserved through frequent contact with the plant, devise andrecommend or initiate solutions and analyse plant failures andperform root cause analysis.
• Ensureprocesses and procedures are developed and maintained to meetthe statutory requirements for electrical and C&I installedplant and determine, review and approve electrical maintenancework scopes.
• Plan,supervise/coordinate or carry out activities, associated withmanufacture, installation, commissioning, operation andmaintenance/repair of equipment and systems asrequired.
• Carryout technical inspection, prepare reports with recommendationsand/or arrange necessary action andprepare/check/assess/coordinate designs, calculations,estimates, sketches, specifications/tenders, working drawingsand schedules.
• Identify, develop andimprove a comprehensive asset maintenance process, proceduresand documentation for all Gas generation electrical andcontrols & instrumentation assets.

Whatyou’ll bring:

• Bachelorof Electrical Engineering.
• Minimumof 10 years’ experience in an Engineeringrole.
• Experience across allelectrical and C&I plant and power generation technologieswith good understanding of electrical energy systems (staticand rotating), high and low voltage equipment, AC/DC,protection and control and instrumentationtechnology.
• Soundunderstanding of asset management principles especially asapplied to managing of ageing power generation assets andassociated risks.
• Goodproject management skills to implement and managecontractors.
