Senior Electrical Project Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Trade Project Manager to join our team. As a key member, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of projects while overseeing other Projec Managers. 
This full-time role offers the opportunity to utilise your strong technical expertise and project management skills to lead electrical installations from start to finish.

What you'll be doing

• Overseeing the planning, coordination and execution of all aspects of assigned electrical projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards
• Developing and managing project plans, schedules, and budgets, and proactively identifying and mitigating risks
• Serving as the primary point of contact for clients, liaising with them to understand requirements and provide regular progress updates
• Supervising and mentoring a team of project managers, electricians, technicians and subcontractors to ensure their work is carried out safely and efficiently
• Ensuring all projects comply with relevant building codes, safety regulations and industry best practices
• Preparing detailed reports and documentation to support project delivery

What we're looking for

• Proven track record of at least 5 years' experience as a Senior Electrical Project Manager
• Extensive knowledge of electrical, installation methods and project management principles
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, contractors and internal teams
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering projects on time and within budget
• Proficient in the use of Simpro software and tools
• Current Australian Electrician's Licence and relevant construction industry certifications
