Shield AI has developed a software factory for building, optimizing, evaluating, and analyzing autonomy solutions. The technology has drawn significant interest from industry. We are currently working with these customers to investigate modern warfighting problems and develop/deliver solutions. This position will support deploying, integrating, packaging, and developing components of this factory for our autonomy teams and customers within isolated/specialized environments. 

• Work with a small team of engineers and administrators
• Integrate our autonomy, AI factory, and tooling into new and existing cloud or air-gapped, on prem environments
• Support CI/CD between those various isolated environments
• Manage JFrog/Artifactory storing of multiple language and generic artifacts
• Ensure proper validation and deployment of our autonomy, AI factory, and tooling
• Coordinate with engineering and test teams to build and meet requirements
• Solve challenging and important problems

• Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 4 years and a Master’s degree; or 2 years with a PhD; or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years demonstrated experience with the Atlassian suite, GitLab, ADO, or similar DevOps environment 
• Experience supporting C++ or Python-based applications
• Solid understanding of Linux/Unix-based systems
• BS/MS in Computer Science, similar degree, or equivalent practical experience
• Demonstrated record of working hard, being a trustworthy teammate, holding yourself and others to high standards, and being kind to others
• Experience debugging/troubleshooting deployed, distributed problems

• C++/Conan build system experience
• Python packaging and deployment experience
• Experience working DevOps in isolated environments

Salary compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, licenses and certifications, and specific work location. All offers are contingent on a cleared background and possible reference check.
