About the Role & Client:
As the Senior Environmental Advisor, you will lead efforts to improve the environmental management and regulatory performance of the company's operations. This role involves extending the business's commercial capabilities through robust engagement with internal customers and external stakeholders, offering authoritative technical advice.

• Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance environmental management and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with internal teams to integrate environmental considerations into commercial strategies and decision-making processes.
• Provide authoritative advice regarding environmental risks and impacts, regulatory risks, and effective controls for day-to-day operations.
• Lead data collection and analysis efforts, translating technical information into actionable insights.

Skills & Requirements:

• Proven experience in environmental management within the energy sector, with a focus on gas-fired and diesel power stations, chemical manufacturing, or petrochemicals.
• Good commercial understanding to closely align performance with the business objectives.
• Strong analytical skills, capable of interpreting and leveraging technical data for informed decision-making.
• Degree or post-graduate qualification in environmental or natural resource management discipline
