Based in Melbourne CBD, this VPS organisation plays an important role in supporting community standards and delivering fair, safe and high-quality outcomes for Victorians. The organisation is currently undergoing a major transformation, strengthening its people capability to support long-term strategic objectives. You'll be joining a People & Culture division that works closely with leaders, employees and unions to foster an inclusive and forward-looking people practice.

Your new role
This opportunity suits an experienced ER professional who enjoys complex work, critical thinking and high levels of stakeholder engagement. As the Senior Employee Relations Advisor, you'll operate with a high degree of autonomy within a fast-paced and supportive team. You'll provide expert advice on workplace matters, guide leaders through sensitive situations, manage challenging cases, and contribute to policy development that enhances the employee experience. The position offers hybrid flexibility with regular attendance in the Melbourne CBD office and strong exposure across the organisation.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this role, you will need:

• Solid experience in employee relations and a sound understanding of relevant policies and legislations
• Confidence navigating complex and sensitive scenarios with clear, balanced communication
• Prior experience within the Victorian Public Sector (highly regarded)
