Are you a process-driven Finance professional with exceptional attention to detail and a passion for continuous improvement? We are seeking a Senior Accounts Officer to join a vibrant, collaborative team supporting a specialist industry client north of the river.

About the Position:

As Senior Accounts Officer, you will provide strong leadership support to the Finance Manager and oversee daily transactional accounting operations. You will champion process improvement, best-practice governance, and be a reliable knowledge resource for your colleagues and stakeholders.

You will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end Accounts Payable and Receivable functions, maintaining accurate balance sheet reconciliations and ledgers, and acting as the primary point of contact for finance-related stakeholder queries. The role involves guiding and mentoring the transactional finance team, supporting their development, and ensuring compliance with purchase card policies and internal controls.

About You:

· Proven experience in transactional accounting and contributing to process and/or system improvements

· Strong knowledge of finance systems and comfortability with troubleshooting and testing system functionality

· Leadership capability with a consultative and mentoring approach

· Ability to identify gaps and propose solutions to enhance finance operations in a compliance-focused environment

· Excellent customer service and stakeholder engagement skills
