Senior Financial Accountant- 12- Month Maximum Contract

Due to a parental leave coverage, we are looking for a dynamic and passionate Senior Financial Accountant to join our growing organisation on a 12 Month term contract. 

Reporting to the Team Manager Finance, your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing various tax duties, including GST, PAYG, FBT, ESL, stamp duties and Company Income Tax and Transfer Pricing documents and work closely with Tax Agents with their reviews.
• Lead the annual external audit requirements and to liaise with the audit team and various finance teams members involvement in the internal audit process.
• Prepare and maintain the related accounting standards papers such as new standards: IFRS 16 – Leases                
• Management of Annual renewal of Workers Compensations for all states, and to liaise with different government authorities to ensure they are lodged and paid on time.
• Monitoring daily financial/operation reconciliations including clearing on premium refunds.
