Senior Financial Accountant

You'll join a PE backed business that is growing and being guided by experienced leadership. They're fully invested in continuing your development and seeing you get exposure to how a business grows.

You'll build on your technical capability, grow your commercial acumen with exposure to acquisitions and integrations, and enhance your systems capability playing a role in an ERP implementation.

Whilst they're a busy business, you won't be buried. You'll work closely with a strong Group Financial Controller, with exposure across finance, FP&A and audit.

1-day WFH post probation.

Your duties:

This role has been built properly. It's not a "prepare journals and stay in your lane" type of position. It's a review-level, control-focused role in a business that is growing, changing and doing interesting things.

You'll sit in a high-performing finance team and take ownership across:

• Review of complex journals, consolidations and intercompany
• Month-end governance, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Statutory and management reporting (review + support)
• Acquisition accounting and new entity integration
• ERP implementation: testing, validation, improvement
• Acting as a senior point of contact for audit

There are no direct reports, but this is very clearly a step toward Finance Manager / Financial Controller capability.

What you bring:

• CA / CPA qualified
• Trained in Big 4 / Mid-tier audit
• Strong technical grounding, but able apply it in a commercial environment
• Comfortable in a business that is moving: you embrace growth & change
• A mindset that leans toward ownership, not task completion
