About the role:

Reporting to Financial Accounting Manager this role will be responsible for preparing month-end and year-end processing, conducing financial analysis, including trend reviews and commentary on key variance to budget.  Alongside producing departmental and consolidated P&L reports, preparing and reviewing monthly balance sheet reconciliations, preparing monthly BAS and supporting external audits.

Key to your success in this role will be your ability to partner with senior leadership, including Regional Managers and Central Executives.

The ideal person will be looking for a varied and challenging role, will be CA or CPA qualified and will have:

• Experience in a financial accounting role, ideally within a complex or regulated industry.
• Proven ability to review P&L and variance reports with operational stakeholders and contribute to financial performance discussions.
• Excellent analytical and organisational skills with a high attention to detail.
• Strong time management skills and ability to work under pressure, effectively meeting tight deadlines and managing competing priorities.
• Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to influence non-finance stakeholder and present complex financial information clearly.
• Ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative, and respond to dynamic business needs.
