Senior Financial Accountant - Start Immediately

This organisation is a highly successful, established provider of products and services within the healthcare sector. Backed by private equity, highly acquisitive and operating in a sector that is rapidly growing organically, they are looking for a Senior Financial Accountant to support their growth. Based in Western Sydney (Head Office), and reporting to the GM Finance, this is a key role, with responsibilities including:  

• Reviewing financial information with aim of maintaining accuracy of general ledger and effectiveness of key processes and controls  
• Monthly analysis and P&L reporting to management with commentary by function/location 
• Preparation, verification and posting of month end journals/adjustments/balance sheet recs  
• Payroll/BAS/FBT reporting as required 
• Preparation of board pack including key metrics (P&L/balance sheet/working cap/KRA’s)  
• Supporting budgeting and forecasting process, including liaison with key stakeholders and management of budget and forecast data in reporting systems 
• Further duties such as bank account/credit card management, audit liaison and coordination

We are seeking candidates with the following traits and experience:  

• CA/CPA with experience in a senior financial accounting role in a corporate environment   
• Able to manage/drive change and adapt constantly to the demands of growth  
• Strong excel skills to extract, manage and interrogate data
