Your new role This is a senior, commercially focused FP&A role within a large, complex services organisation where finance is central to strategic decision-making. The position partners closely with executive leadership to deliver high quality financial planning, reporting and pricing insight across the Australian business.
Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, the role also provides leadership and guidance to a junior analyst and acts as a key conduit between finance and operational stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading monthly financial analysis and management reporting across business units, including forecast and P&L ownership
- Delivering commercial insights, recommendations and pricing models to support performance improvement and growth
- Supporting contract pricing, RFPs and strategic initiatives with robust financial modelling and analysis
- Partnering with senior leaders and executives on budgeting, forecasting, strategy and investment decisions
- Driving improvements in reporting, automation, BI utilisation and data integrity across systems
- Supporting the CFO with ad hoc analysis, special projects and executive level reporting as required

Ideally, you will bring:Proven experience in a senior FP&A or financial analyst role, with ownership of planning, forecasting and management reporting
- Strong commercial acumen, including pricing models, financial modelling and contract/RFP analysis
- Experience partnering with executive and operational leaders, translating data into actionable insight
- Advanced Excel capability and confidence working with BI and enterprise financial systems
- A proactive, accountable approach with the confidence to work autonomously and manage competing priorities
- Tertiary qualifications in finance, accounting or a related discipline, with CPA or CA qualification
