Senior Fund & Investment Operations Analyst - Leading Industry Pay

Through a period of significant transformation and growth, our client, a boutique fund manager, seeks a Senior Fund & Investment Operations Analyst to play a critical role in shaping and guiding the future growth and development of the organisation.

As a key member of the operations team, the right candidate for us must be comfortable executing and overseeing core day-to-day fund accounting/unit pricing and trade operations duties as a primary focus. This is a diverse and highly visible role within the firm, and we are looking for an individual who can bring ideas to the table and maintain strong and effective relationships across internal teams and service providers. You will also be involved in identifying and driving the implementation of process improvements relating to fund & investment operations (including the review of unit pricing & valuation data and trade operations).

Ideally, you will have 3-7 years’ experience in fund accounting/unit pricing in a hands-on role. Exposure to project and transition work will be advantageous.

It’s important to note that although this will start as a 6-month fixed contract, we are only looking for candidates who are aiming for a long-term and more permanent commitment to the fund.  

To succeed with your application, you will have:

• 3 – 7 years’ fund accounting/unit pricing experience in a in a financial services organisation (i.e., fund manager, custodian, or fund administrator) 
• A passion for investment management, and proven interest in financial markets 
• Exposure to project and transition work will be advantageous.
• Proficiency in Excel 
• Future-focused and innovative, with the ability to anticipate and manage change
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and written
• Well-developed communication skills
• A creative and rational approach, team-oriented, collegiate, and collaborative approach
