Grays.com is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Graphic Designer to join our dynamic marketing team. You will play a key part in conceptualizing and executing creative visual solutions that effectively communicate our brand identity and messaging across various digital and print channels. You will also collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop compelling designs that resonate with our target audience and drive engagement.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Conceptualize and Design: Develop innovative and visually appealing designs for digital and print assets, including website banners, social media graphics, email campaigns, advertisements, brochures, and promotional materials.
- Brand Management: Manage and lead consistency and adherence to brand guidelines across all design projects, maintaining the integrity of the Grays.com brand identity while exploring creative opportunities for brand evolution.
- Retail Design Expertise: Leverage retail design experience to create impactful designs that resonate with our target audience, understanding the nuances of different design styles for conveying various messaging and marketing objectives.
- Message Consistency: Ensure that all design assets produced are consistent in style, tone, and messaging, regardless of the platform or medium.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with digital, brand and product teams to translate marketing objectives and messaging into visually engaging designs that effectively communicate key messages and drive conversion.
- Creative Ideation: Proactively contribute to brainstorming sessions and idea generation, bringing fresh perspectives and creative solutions to marketing initiatives and campaigns.
- Project Management: Manage and lead multiple design projects simultaneously, from concept to completion, ensuring timely delivery and quality execution while adhering to project timelines and deadlines.
- Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, emerging design technologies, and best practices in graphic design, continuously seeking opportunities to enhance design quality and effectiveness.
- Feedback and Iteration: Solicit feedback from stakeholders and incorporate revisions as needed, maintaining open communication channels and fostering a collaborative working environment.
We’re looking for someone who has:
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or related field.
- Proven experience working as a graphic designer, preferably in an e-commerce or digital marketing environment.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design projects, with a focus on modern, retail-inspired designs and a demonstrated understanding of different design styles for conveying various messaging.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant design tools.
- Excellent understanding of design principles, typography, colour theory, and composition.
- Ability to think creatively, adapt to feedback, and translate abstract concepts into visually compelling designs.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with a keen eye for aesthetics and a passion for creating exceptional visual experiences.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail.
