Job Description - Senior HR Advisor

Our client is seeking a Senior Human Resources Advisor to join their dynamic team. What you'll do:

As a Senior Human Resources Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in navigating the complexities of industrial relations, providing expert advice on Fair Work Legislation, Awards, and recent legislative changes. Your role will involve auditing and approving payroll activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance. You will be entrusted with conducting complex investigations and disciplinary processes, demonstrating your strong analytical skills and practical approach to problem-solving. Leading multiple priorities and demands will be part of your daily responsibilities. Your ability to make confident decisions regarding sensitive matters will be crucial in this role, always considering potential risks and impacts for the business. Working collaboratively within a team environment will be key to your success.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Senior Human Resources Advisor position brings a wealth of experience from previous roles. With at least five years' experience in a similar role, you have developed a comprehensive understanding of Fair Work Legislation, Awards, and recent legislative changes. Your experience extends to payroll auditing and approvals as well as conducting complex investigations and disciplinary processes. Your strong analytical skills are complemented by your practical approach to problem-solving. You are confident in your decision-making abilities, particularly when dealing with sensitive matters. Your resilience and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment set you apart. You are an excellent team player with previous leadership experience, ideally within companies with strong compliance policies and processes.

  • Minimum of five years' experience in a similar role
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Fair Work Legislation, Awards, and recent changes in legislation
  • Experience in payroll auditing and approvals
