This small private sector company, that consults to the federal government, requires an experienced Senior HR Advisor to join the company for 6 months. This company has undergone significant growth inn the last few years and wants a HR professional to review and update their HR functions to make sure they are fit for purpose. Initially this role will:
support the review, update and modernisation HR Policies to align with legislation and award changes;provide support and advice/guidance to managers on performance and people related matters;work closely with the CEO to review gaps in their training and policies and decide on solutions to resolve, including research and engagement of appropriate training providers.
This role will suit a HR Generalist with expertise across a range of HR areas and they will need:
the ability to confidently provide advice on all HR elements;experience reviewing and writing HR policy;experience supporting managers on a range of people issues;a solid understanding of current HR legislations and recent changes required to be included in internal policies;a proactive and confident nature - and ability to work independently; andBASELINE security clearance is mandatory to work in this environment!
This role could be worked in a full-time or part-time capacity, for the right person. There will be the opportunity for this contract to be extended to focus on the review of other operational and contract management changes - for those with an interest outside of HR functions.
