Already possessing extensive experience as a
Senior InterSystems Integration Developer , this role will challenge you to apply your expertise to the design, development, and delivery of complex
digital health integrations and mission-critical
interoperability solutions .
You will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams, translating user and organisational requirements into well-structured, scalable, and reliable data & integration workflows. Your work will directly support improvements in clinical data exchange, system interoperability, and digital health capability across a large enterprise environment.

Location: Adelaide / Melbourne / Sydney / Brisbane, or Canberra
Style: Hybrid (depending on location); approx. 3 days in CBD office + WFH
Salary: up to $190K (inc super), depending on experience
All applicants must hold Australian Citizenship, or Permanent Residency (PR) with the intention of gaining citizenship in the near future .
Essential skills & experience: Core InterSystems Expertise
- Significant professional experience with InterSystems IRIS or IRIS for Health, particularly in modern integration or API-driven environments.
- Proficiency with InterSystems HealthShare Health Connect (previously known as Intersystems Ensemble) acrossinteroperability, productions, business processes, data transformations).
- Experience developing with InterSystems technologies in large, enterprise-scale environments.
Healthcare Integration Skills
- Demonstrated experience delivering InterSystems solutions within the Australian digital health ecosystem.
- Strong knowledge of HL7; experience with FHIR is preferred, but not essential.
- Prior experience building or maintaining large-scale, real-time clinical data integrations across multiple disparate systems.
Technical & Design Capability
- Background in object-oriented programming (OOP).
- Strong capability in solution design, information structure, and workflow modelling within an integration context.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in environments requiring high reliability, robust data quality, and adherence to healthcare interoperability standards.
