Senior Investment Operations Associate - Room for Advancement

Excellent Brisbane based opportunity for an Investment Operations specialist. CBD location.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Relationship management of Fund Managers middle and back office.
• Liaison with custodians, fund administrators, and other third parties.
• Holdings and cash reconciliations to custodians and fund administrators.
• Corporate action processing and reviews.
• Unit price reconciliations, approvals, and oversight of unit price delivery.
• Administration of equities, fixed income, private debt, derivatives, and other asset classes.
• Workflow management and approvals, carrying out ad-hoc duties as required by management.
• Identify risks and inefficiencies, implement business processes and other tools/controls which create efficiencies in Investment Operations.
• Assist in the training of new team members in a consistent manner.

The successful candidate will have strong working knowledge in investment operations, in funds management or in a financial markets environment. 

This role will require a candidate who takes full responsibility of tasks, and a team player who is committed to the highest level of service in Investment Operations. Ideally, you will bring relevant systems experience (IRESS, Bloomberg, Excel). Above all else you will be highly committed to your work and passionate about financial markets and investment operations.
