Hays Technology is partnering with a leading industrial organisation to recruit an experienced Senior IT Support Officer for a 5-6-month contract located in Wangara. This role sits within a supportive APAC IT function and provides hands-on technical support to end users across the region.If you're a customer-focused IT professional with strong troubleshooting capability and a passion for service excellence, this is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-moving team.

Your new role
As the IT Support Officer, you will act as a first and second level support specialist, delivering high-quality technical assistance, problem resolution, and user enablement across hardware, software, and network environments.
Key responsibilities:

• Delivering 2nd/3rd level hardware and software support to users in the APAC region
• Installing and configuring computers, monitors, peripherals, and network devices
• Creating user accounts and supporting onboarding for new employees
• Troubleshooting issues across email, printers, devices, and applications
• Assisting with the rollout of new software, systems updates, and local IT projects
• Providing end-user training and identifying further training needs
• Maintaining asset inventories and contributing to IT process documentation
• Participating in global IT meetings

What you'll need to succeed

• Solid troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, servers and networks
• A proactive, "can-do" approach with the ability to work independently and in a team
• Experience with Microsoft Office 365 technologies
• Understanding of ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow)
• Driver's licence and willingness to travel for occasional onsite work
• Knowledge of ITIL or ERP systems (MS D365) is advantageous.
