Senior Lawyer - Western Sydney Airport Project (Temporary opportunity for up to 20 months)

In this role, you'll:

Work as part of a high performing Legal team delivering timely, clear and solution focused legal services that support major infrastructure project delivery and corporate operations at Sydney Metro.

This role will see you providing high quality general legal advice across complex project and commercial matters while partnering closely with internal clients to manage risk, support negotiations, resolve issues and improve business processes.

You will navigate and broker practical legal solutions that deliver robust outcomes, risk mitigation and service improvements in a fast paced, time critical public sector infrastructure environment.

About you

Your strong legal judgement, stakeholder engagement capability and commercial acumen, formed across government, infrastructure, construction or complex commercial environments, will see you excel in managing competing priorities, advising on high risk matters and delivering clear, actionable advice to diverse audiences.

You bring a proactive, solutions oriented approach that supports sound decision making, improved processes and successful project and organisational outcomes.

You are recognised as a trusted legal advisor, skilled at translating complex legal and legislative issues into practical guidance, and experienced in general commercial law, construction law, administrative and statutory interpretation, and procurement, with a demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
