Senior Lawyer/Practice Leader | M&A and Capital Raising | 6+ PQE

The Opportunity

Our Corporate Transactions practice is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced transactional lawyer to join the team. In this position, you will assist our SME clients with M&A deals, as well as collaborate with some of Australia's most prominent startups, scale-ups and venture capital funds. We have worked with an impressive list of startup and venture capital clients at various stages in their lifecycle; from set up to acting on their seed/Series A/Series B rounds, and beyond.

This position is ideal for an experienced and energetic lawyer with broad expertise in corporate transactions, specifically M&A and/or capital raising, within a recognised firm or company. You should have experience in running matters autonomously in a fast paced environment. 

As a Senior Lawyer or Practice Leader, you will also be responsible for supervising a small team of talented lawyers and graduates. As such, you will demonstrate a genuine interest in training and mentoring juniors and supporting their growth in the firm.
